Based on a report dated February 2023 by the U.K. newspaper Daily Mail, a claim that a batch of soon-to-be-unsealed court documents “expected to include information pertaining to at least one ‘public figure'” will be published soon.
The documents posted on Twitter are not the unsealed documents that have been discussed recently by the press. They are court documents, unsealed in 2019, related to a lawsuit filed in 2015. Although the documents thought to be released soon are from this same suit.
Jeffrey Epstein was arrested on July 6, 2019, and faced many federal charges for the trafficking of minors in New York and Florida. He eventually pleaded not guilty that July 10 and was found dead in his jail cell almost a month later.
Last month, convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell told Britain’s TalkTV she believed Jeffrey Epstein had been murdered in prison, and that she was shocked to hear of his death.
After numerous requests from media organizations, the case material was gradually released after the lawsuit was settled under seal in 2017.
The release of this material – containing ‘salacious’ allegations that have remained buried for nearly four years – could have a devastating effect on some of the most powerful people in the world.
Christine Pelosi, a Democratic National Committee official and daughter of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, warned conspicuously on Saturday evening that it is “quite likely that some of our faves are implicated” in the “horrific” sex-trafficking case against politically connected financier Jeffrey Epstein.
Since his arrest, photos have surfaced of Epstein and Maxwell with high profile-celebrities and politicians such as Justin Trudeau and Jim Carrey who denounces the allegations.
